Weddings With Me!

About

I love my job, I get to meet the coolest people, I get to watch people experience one of the best days of their lives, I get to record it for them and I get to do it in a creative way. What could be better than that for a profession? My company is woman-owned, LQBTQ+ friendly-nay SUPPORTIVE, and loves all people from all walks of life.

Loads of people talk about how they want to leave something behind when they’re gone, a legacy. Wedding photographers perhaps do that in the best way. From the day I did my very first wedding I left a legacy, I recorded an event for generations to look back on no matter how relationships end up. Now I know these amazing couples will have their own children and legacies, I am even more moved in the fact that they will look back at their parents wedding photos I was able to capture for them. Even if no one knew my name after that I made a mark, a happy mark, in a good handful of peoples lives. I had a ton of fun and learned a lot while doing it too.

Your day is about you and your love, it’s a celebration as it should be.

I am incredibly flexible, I am a great listener and I am an expert at handling tough and chaotic situations. THAT is something you want in a wedding vendor, especially in a photographer. Your wedding photographer is the one person on your vendor team that will be with you for 95% of the day’s events if not longer! So when stuff starts going sideways you want someone prepared and experienced! Whether the surprises are good or bad.

I’ve learned through years of working with kids on various platforms (daycare, nannying, and school pictures), as well as working in restaurants for almost 10 years, how to handle people, talk to people, solve problems on the fly, answer questions and connect with people. So let me show you what I could do for your forever memories!

I am of course biased but I believe your photographer is the most important decision of your wedding day, and where you should not DIY or make money a part of your decision.

You CAN hire anyone who claims to be a photographer because they have a nice camera and maybe took…like, ONE course at their community college, though I highly suggest you don’t. You SHOULD hire someone who has been through the chaotic happy experience with weddings specifically. Yes, even if your wedding is 2 hours long or just a ceremony at city hall (you’re saving loads of money so put it towards one of the most important parts of it).

Planning a wedding is no piece of (wedding) cake, my friend. I’ve experienced it from both sides of the conversation now. Having said that you also need someone who is a people person, who is easy to talk to, who can answer all of your questions (sometimes before you even ask them), and who keeps calm and reasonable when the situation becomes confusing or difficult. I, as a professional, HIRE professionals because I know they know what they’re doing and can trust them. That goes for plumbers, accountants, and yes I even hire professional photographers to photograph me if I need it (luckily I know a few). It’s going to cause you so much less heartache for the rest of your life, rather than cost a little bit of extra money now, to hire a professional photographer for your wedding.

THINKING OF GOING AWAY?

I’ll come with you!

2020 has brought me into the destination wedding game! I loved traveling to another place with a team, the couple, and their family and friends to capture their dream wedding.

I am happy to offer packages for traveling couples for weddings outside of the New England area.

An official “destination wedding” is considered to take place anywhere outside of the New England States (Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island).

My customized packages include all my travel costs - flights, hotels, ground transportation, and food for the time I am present in the destination, so you don’t have to worry about anything!
