I’m so happy you’re here!
Here’s a little about me…
Hi, I’m Sarah! I’ve been a wedding photographer for 10 years now, ever since I photographed my very first wedding at 19. I earned my BFA in Photography from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston—though fun fact, I originally started art school planning to become an illustrator! Having a Fine Arts background has given me a unique edge in commercial photography, allowing me to bring a more artistic and distinctive style to wedding documenting.
My style leans toward the moodier side—deeper, earthier tones with richer shadows than what’s currently trending in mainstream wedding photography. I make sure the colors you’ve thoughtfully chosen for your wedding, as well as your natural skin tones, stay true to life, while enhancing the emotional impact beyond what comes straight out of the camera. My approach is documentary-style and candid, but I’m also confident in giving direction and stepping in to guide things when needed, ensuring you get the most beautiful and genuine moments.
On a personal note, being on the other side of the wedding experience has given me a deeper appreciation for how overwhelming the day can be. It's helped me develop an even better sense of how to keep things efficient, low-stress, and, most importantly, fun. My husband, Shane, and I have been together for nearly 12 years—we were high school sweethearts and recently tied the knot ourselves! He’s an Occupational Therapist and the best partner I could ask for.
Outside of photography, I have a wide range of interests: I love trying new restaurants, playing board games, devouring sci-fi and fantasy books and movies, and binge-watching true crime (seriously, it’s an addiction). I’m also really into craft cocktails —both drinking and making them! I enjoy cooking, hiking, yoga, and trying to walk the dogs enough… when time and motivation align. 😉

I especially love working with couples who want their wedding to reflect them, not what Pinterest or Instagram says it should be. Whether it’s CO₂ cannons on the dance floor, a masquerade ball theme, or paddling out to a tiny island with your competitive canoeing crew for a ceremony (yes, I’ve actually done all of those)—I’m here for it. So tell me what you want to do and I’ll be there!
Send me a message for a free consultation over Zoom so we can talk about your dream wedding!

I will work to make sure your special day is documented and handled with utmost respect and attention. I will do the same for any family portraits, headshots, senior portraits, engagement sessions, and so on! I love meeting and working with new people.
